Benefit’s Erase Paste Concealer ✯✯✯✯

17 Nov

This concealer brought up a bit of controversy.

Don’t get me wrong! It’s great for under eye but when it comes to blemishes it leaves a greasy mess.

This concealer has a salmon undertone to cancel out the blue in your under eye circles. It’s VERY thick so you need a really good setting powder. If you don’t the concealer can crease like nothing else!

That’s where I’l tied! As a student, I stay up very late with school work, leaving me with dark dark circles. It took a bit of trial and error to get this concealer to work for me! But now that I’ve got it, it’s a LIFE SAVER!

Step 1: PRIME – I put a bit of eyeshadow primer under my eyes.

Step 2: Apply a THIN layer or Benefit’s Erase Paste. Think about how much you need, then cut that in half.

Step 3: SET THAT SUCKER! Apply a nice amount of powder to set the concealer. Either your foundation power or just a setting powder.

(Left without, Right with)

This concealer is a hefty $26 for .15 oz. I personally opted in for the $10 mini that came with a kit. I recommend that because you truly just need the tinniest amount. I’ve had the mini for over 2 months now and barely made a dent.

*For blemishes I recommend Benefit’s “Boing”!*

Hard Candy’s Glamoflauge Concealer ✯✯✯✯✯

This concealer isn’t called heavy duty for nothing! This product claims to be able to cover up tattoos. I don’t have any tattoos to demonstrate, but I totally believe this claim!

To demonstrate, I took 2 lip pencils with red undertones to act as blemishes. (1st picture). Then I applied the concealer. After a bit of blending the red marks were gone!

With this concealer, you really only need the SMALLEST amount. The hardest part is figuring out home much you need. Think about how much you’ll need, then squeeze out half of that. Remember, you can always get more.

I personally don’t get that many blemishes, but I am cursed with really dark under eyes. I use two layers to cover them and it stays pretty much the whole day if I set it with powder. You can defiantly build up the coverage as needed.

ALWAYS SET THIS WITH POWDER! I got lazy one day and my goodness it was fading in some parts and staying with the others.

I bought this item at Walmart for only SIX DOLLERS ($6). What a steal! And it comes with a ton of product (.71oz). Sadly it only comes in 3 shades. I’m using Tan and I’m a NC40 in MAC.
